Job description:CORPORATE, COMMERCIAL AND LITIGATION ATTORNEY A Cape Town based law firm with an established client base, has a vacancy for an attorney with at least 5 years post admission experience to start as soon as possible. The applicant should ideally have the following: • Experience in corporate and commercial law, with excellent knowledge and understanding of the Companies Act and law of contract; • Experience in litigation - both Magistrate’s Court and High Court; • Knowledge of Intellectual Property Law would be a definite advantage; • Must be able to run and build an independent practice – existing client base will be beneficial. Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications. Experience level will be tested during interviews and references will be checked and verified.
